Angela and Carlos just miss out on the Strictly Quarter Final

Strictly week 10 results saw Angela Scanlon and Layton Williams face off in the dance-off.
It was both couple’s first time in the dreaded dance-off after they ended up in the bottom two.
After performing their dances once again, it was down to the judges to decide who should stay – and who should head home.

Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood, and Motsi Mabuse opted to save Layton and Nikita. However, Shirley Ballas admitted she would have saved Angela.

Speaking after her elimination was confirmed, Angela admitted she was “gutted”.
“It’s been honestly incredible, I’m gutted, really gutted that it’s finished now, but it has been the most wonderful experience,” she told Tess.
“I have made the best friend in this man [Carlos]. We have had so much fun, he is such an incredible guy. He has supported me and picked me up and made me laugh so much. I don’t know what to say, it’s been magical honestly – all of those people up there!

Strictly’s Bobby Brazier reveals his father Jeff told him he was ‘proud’ after he and Dianne Buswell left viewers in tears with moving dance.

Strictly's Bobby Brazier reveals his father Jeff told him he was'proud' after he and Dianne Buswell left viewers in tears with moving dance.

Bobby Brazier has told how his father Jeff was ‘really proud’ of him after his emotional perfomance on Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing. The EastEnders actor, 20, and his professional dance partner, 34, brought some viewers to tears with their performance to This Woman’s Work. The camera cut to Bobby’s father Jeff in the audience at the end of the song with the proud dad looking on the verge of tears.

Speaking on spin-off show It Takes Two on Wednesday, Bobby said: ‘I remember looking to them after it finished and my dad just said, “well done”, I could tell he was really proud. The pair received their highest score of the series with 37 points which came as a relief after they landed in the bottom two the previous week.

Dianne said: ‘To be in the dance off the week before, he was just so positive all week and he danced so well. I’m in shock little Bobby danced like that, it was so good.’ Bobby added: ‘It was a privilege. I always said before Strictly was even a thing in my mind if I got to do Couples’ Choice I would dance to that song.’

It comes after Bobby revealed his emotional two-word tribute to his late mother Jade Goody, after she died when he was just five years old. The soap star shared the moving homage during a candid interview with The Mirror, after leaving viewers in tears with his emotional dance. He said: ‘If I could see her again for one moment, I’d tell her, ”Thank you” and give her a cuddle.’

Bobby was only five when Jade, who rose to fame on Big Brother in 2002, died of cervical cancer on Mother’s Day in March 2009.

His father, TV presenter Jeff, 44, single-handedly raised him and younger brother Freddie, 19, with the pair both shedding some tears as they watched on from the audience.

Bobby said of his mother’s death before his performance: ‘It changed my life completely, I’d love to spend a day with her just to see where I get my smile from.’

In the emotional VT before Bobby’s performance with his partner Dianne, Jeff paid tribute to Jade and how proud she would be of their son. He told the camera: ‘As a family we are very tight, we have had to be as loss has made us grow closer.’ Bobby added his love for his dad by saying: ‘To be someone that my dad is proud of is everything.’

Breaking down in tears Jeff called himself ‘the lucky one’, explaining: ‘I’m the one who gets to bring the boys up I’m the one who gets to watch him on Strictly and it brings so much joy to my life, I’m very, very grateful for that.’
